This is shaping up to be a very strange 40-50 minutes. As a producer, it’s been the most rewarding to put together, with every minute the product of hours’ work. As a fan, I can hear all the love that Alastair guy has put into it. I hear he’s pretty great. If I worked in the audio production industry, I’d totally employ him.

Finding myself without a job or a girlfriend, I’ve been listening to a lot of The Rubber Chicken Podwoff over the past couple of months. I like it a lot. Season 2 in particular is a thing of hilarious beauty. It’s my audio comedy thing of the year, even if there hasn’t been a real episode since prehistoric 2008. I’m genuinely looking forward to #208, but then I don’t have a either job or a girlfriend.

  3. Mr. KarlNo Gravatar Says:

Obviously when I wrote #208, I actually wrote #207. Read it properly, you buffoons!

  4. ZinggyNo Gravatar Says:

Be assured that there is a general, appropriately tardy, sense of anticipation being built here.

If I worked in the audio production industry, I too would employ Alastair Craig. It would be the sort of thing that would be done.

I am beginning to realize that I could monopolize this comment thread for months at a time without anybody noticing. The power! It’s too much!

  6. ZinggyNo Gravatar Says:

What sorts of things go in comment threads, anyways? Should I start throwing out quotes? Misquotes? “What is a man?!” “HE IS SPARTA!”

  7. AlastairNo Gravatar Says:

    What makes a man?
Is it the power in his hand?
Is it his quest for glory?
    Give it all you got-a.
    To fight to the top.
So we can know your story.
    Now you’re a man (MAN!)
    A man man man.
    Now you’re a man.
    A many many man.
    A man man man.
    You are now a man.
    You’re man.
    Now you’re a MAN.

I hope this answers your question.
